We equip our air handlers with variable speed motors to help maintain consistent and even airflow. The variable speed motor featured on the BCS2V and EFV models gradually increases speeds from low to high. This helps keep noise levels to a minimum, remove humidity from your home and enhance indoor air quality. Our drain pans are designed with a heat-resistant polymer that will not rust or corrode and is suitable for today’s high-tech ultraviolet coil-cleaning lights. Drain pans are also treated with Microban® antimicrobial protection, an additive that inhibits the growth of odor-causing mold, mildew and bacteria. For easier servicing and cleaning, all coil sections are lined with foil-faced insulation.
